First BIR ‘Expert-only’ day was very lightly attended.. Had wide open lapping most of the day. Conditions: 70 degrees, sprinkles and very windy (again!). First 2 sessions had some standing water T3-4 and entering the carousel.

I started with 5 session old Supercar 3R’s.. Best I managed was a 1:42.65, basically the same time I ran back in May on the 3R’s when they were fresh… I probably won’t run 3R’s again at BIR – good tire that it is, I’ll reserve that setup for new (to me) tracks.

I swapped in a set of Hoosier R7’s (275F/315R) on 18x10 and 18x12 Finspeeds after lunch. It took a couple of sessions to dial in the pressure at 33psi, but once warmed they provided more grip and confidence than the 245/305 3R’s.

I think I can get into the high 30's on this setup with some more seat time, and less windy conditions - but we’ll see. 😊

‘Wolfpaq 3.0’ is a 2022 C8 Corvette Z51 and has magnetic shocks/PTM. Mods from ‘Factory Stock’: Lowered ¾” front and back on Paragon collars, GM-spec track alignment, GM brake ducts, Girodisc rotors front/rear, G-Loc R12 track pads front/rear, and on this day, Hoosier R7’s (275F/315R) on 18x10 and 18x12 Finspeeds
