This was my second BIR ‘Long’ track day in the C8, and a very fun, if not particularly fast way to end the 2022 MN track season. 

Conditions: 36 degrees am - 65 degrees afternoon, sunny, moderate winds. 

Equipment note (tires) of the day: I decided against running new Hoosiers as am temps were 32 degrees. I shifted down to a set of 2nd day old Michelin Sport Cup 2's in stock 245/305 sizes. Wowza - Big difference - More howl - More fun than fast, but I almost beat my first C8 day on the big track where I ran just a few tenths quicker on new Hoosier R7's, so there's that. LOL.

Outcome: Best lap was 1:49.14 on the 2nd lap of the last session chasing a buddy in his new-to-him TA2 car. I have much to learn on the Donnybrooke track configuration. I'll keep chipping away in 2023.

Running mod list: ‘Wolfpaq 3.0’ is a 2022 C8 Corvette Z51 and has magnetic shocks & PTM. Mods from ‘Factory Stock’: Lowered ¾” front and back on Paragon collars, GM-spec track alignment, GM brake ducts (now removed) Girodisc rotors front/rear, G-Loc R12 track pads front/rear and SRF flush.
