Had so much fun driving my 2016 BAC Mono at the COTA just 2 weeks prior to the F1 race in October.

This car is fantastic to drive and after just a few weeks of ownership I am still getting used the handling and realize that it has so much potential.

At first I had to adjust the brake bias as it was too much to the rear, so hard braking made the car very lively in the back. The Mono is designed as a mechanical grip car as opposed to a downforce car and I can confirm that the grip is ridiculous. On this session I was using Pirelli DM slicks that were at the end of their lifespan but not once did I feel like the car was getting away from me.

My car has the steel brakes which are really good with no brake fade even after many laps. I can’t imagine how good the ceramic brake option is on a car that weighs just 1250 lbs.

Of all the cars I have had a chance to drive on the track this is by far the most fun and visceral experience and I can’t wait to get back out there and improve on my lap times.

Enjoy the video!!
