After a 15 month hiatus, we were back in the Howe Racing TA2 Camaro for the Trans Am West season opener at Buttonwillow! This is the last few laps after the final restart. I had never driven this track before and we ended up qualifying pretty far back after only getting a handful of laps in practice due to weather and a small mechanical issue. I didn't have the one lap pace and there was easily 2 seconds more in the car. I definitely could've been more aggressive but we kept the nose clean and brought home a solid P8 and a car without any damage.
