Here is my qualifying session from Saturday on my first race weekend on the new track known as The Circuit at Buttonwillow. It took until my fifth lap to get a clean run and it was drizzling a bit, but the track was still fast. This is recorded using a Garmin Catalyst from inside one of my Spec Corvettes running the series mandated 200 treadwear Vitour tires on Trackspec wheels.
It is a mostly clean lap, and I it is a reasonable representation of the fast line around the track. As I drive it more, I am certain I will refine the line or discover new approaches to a fast lap.
