Last time I was at Thunderhill West, it was a year ago. Everything felt unfamiliar to me. This was also the first time I used the Bilsten B6 setup here. With recent sway bar changes, the car was quite difficult to drive. It understeer at slow corners like T7, T9 at entry but oversteer at exit. The new brake pads are also bite a bit too much, made it difficult to trail brake, makes the understeer even more difficult to mitigate. This is also the first time in a few years that I improved my lap time in the afternoon session as I was spending the whole day to get used to this new strange handling. While it wasn't a fast setup, I had tons of power slides throughout the day and get 2 black flags for doing those. It was a fun day.
