Truly excited about this unexpected short video! Got the fortunate chance to coach a friend and sample his awesome Spec Boxster around Buttonwillow Raceway Park in morning warm-up during the PCA GGR weekend on May 22-23rd, 2021. My first time in this car or driving any fully prepared Spec Boxster, and the tires for the session were year-old scrubs so it definitely wasn't optimal! But wow, this was a TON of fun to experience and brought me back to my former Spec Miata days. The build quality was exceptional; the MoTeC system was fantastic, steering feeling was smooth and tight, gearbox was direct and rewarding, and a very neutral setup allowed me to get up to speed a bit quicker (also thanks to Mark in the burgundy car getting me up to speed as well!) Enjoy these two laps as much as I did!
