In-car lap at Buttonwillow Raceway in a Porsche 981 Boxster S. This was my first visit to Buttonwillow Raceway. I was able to enjoy the day with 11 driving friends and two spouses, surrounded by mostly Porsches and Lotuses. It was the most epic HPDE for me yet. During my fourth CW session, I was getting pretty comfortable with the layout and direction. My overall assessment of the track, was that there are plenty of spots that gave me a false sense of confidence for the rest of the track. It is really interesting to see how much we learned in four sessions. By the time we drove our final CW laps, our line choices and entry, carry and exit speeds were much more aggressive. Super fun.
