NOVICE
This was the first time I took the 240Z on a dry racetrack. I have another lap that's a bit faster, but since they're all pretty slow I uploaded the one that's a bit more interesting to look at.
The tires had more grip left, but the high amount of body roll near the limit made me not want to push it much further. The suspension also felt too compliant/wobbly, especially at higher speeds.
Current specs: brand new Bridgestone RE-11s, 205/55R16 all corners, #200 springs front, #250 springs rear, Koni yellows, 3.54 Torsen LSD from an STI, L24 with headers, stock 4-speed, 1" front sway bar, no rear sway bar. Thin (18.5mm) RCAs/bump steer spacers on the front. Stock body with some extra weight: sound deadening, A/C, spare tire, stereo.
To address the body roll, I'm putting my 30mm RCAs back. I'm also installing stiffer springs (either #350F #400R or #300F 350#R). The rattle at high RPMs is annoying, but I'm hoping it's not a transmission issue that'll go away when I install a new clutch and lightweight flywheel.
