The Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat Redeye (2019-2023) represents the most powerful non-widebody Challenger variant, featuring a supercharged 6.2-liter HEMI V8 engine producing 797 horsepower (594 kW) at 6,300 rpm and 707 lb-ft (959 Nm) of torque at 4,500 rpm. The Redeye uses the larger 2.7-liter supercharger from the Demon (versus the standard Hellcat's 2.4-liter unit) along with strengthened internals and improved cooling systems. Power is delivered through either a 6-speed manual transmission or TorqueFlite 8-speed automatic transmission to the rear wheels.

Performance figures include 0-60 mph in 3.4 seconds and quarter-mile times in the low 11-second range, with top speed of 203 mph. The Redeye includes comprehensive performance upgrades including adaptive Bilstein dampers, launch control, torque reserve system, after-run chiller for supercharger coolant, strengthened driveline components, Brembo brakes with 6-piston front calipers, 20-inch wheels with Pirelli tires, and weighs approximately 4,450 pounds. The supercharged HEMI delivers brutal low-end torque and linear power delivery with the characteristic American V8 supercharger whine. The Challenger Redeye combines extreme straight-line performance with classic muscle car styling, daily drivability, and surprising practicality with comfortable seating and usable trunk space. The Redeye represents the peak of naturally aspirated American V8 muscle car excess, offering near-800 horsepower in a street-legal package with warranty coverage, retro styling honoring 1970s Challenger heritage, and the visceral experience of supercharged HEMI power at an accessible price point compared to exotic supercars with similar performance.
