Mono

Notes

The BAC Mono is a graphene-enhanced rear-mid-engine/one-seater/road-legal superlight Sportscar designed by Ian Briggs and assembled in Liverpool, England, from 2013 to 2015. It made its first public appearance at the Retro Classic Show in Stuttgart, Germany. This futuristic-looking racecar uses a 2.3L four-cylinder, naturally aspirated gasoline engine, which produces a maximum output power of 280 Bhp at 7700 Rpm. The BAC Mono is equipped with a 6-speed sequential transmission and a limited-slip differential. The car reaches a top speed of 170 Mph, with an explosive 0-62 Mph acceleration time of only 2.8 seconds. Its carbon fiber body reduces its curb weight to 1190 Lb, giving it a breathtaking power-to-weight ratio of 0.62.

The BAC Mono is a full-fletched, modern-looking race car that has earned the love of an army of fans with its supreme handling and overall world-class performance on the race tracks. It comes with Pirelli Trofeo R tires, 205/40/R17 on the front and 255/40/R17 on the back, supported by a rose-jointed, aero-profiled pushrod suspension and the AP racing formula brake system. The Mono drivers are kept safe with a full racing harness and a tubular steel safety cell. The competition-ready BAC Mono is not cheap: it has a current market value of 109,950 € plus taxes, but that's peanuts for a true racing fan with deep pockets.
