The Porsche 718 Boxster GTS is a high-performance version of the mid-engine 718 Boxster, offering enhanced power, agility, and sporty features. Initially introduced in 2017 with a 2.5-liter turbocharged flat-four engine producing 365 horsepower, it was later updated in 2020 with a naturally aspirated 4.0-liter flat-six engine, delivering 394 horsepower and 309 lb-ft of torque. Both versions come with a choice of a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed PDK dual-clutch transmission.
The GTS features a sport-tuned suspension with Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM), a lowered ride height, and upgraded brakes for precise handling. Design elements include black exterior accents, 20-inch wheels, and GTS-specific badging. Inside, the cabin is appointed with Alcantara trim, Sport Seats Plus, and a Sport Chrono package as standard, emphasizing its driver-focused nature.
The 718 Boxster GTS is celebrated for blending the open-top driving experience with thrilling performance and sharp handling, making it a standout option for enthusiasts seeking an engaging sports car.
