Sie kommen ab Werk mit einem 2,3-Liter-EcoBoost-Vierzylinder-Turbomotor mit 215 PS. Diese ikonischen Maschinen können in unter 7 Sekunden von 0 auf 100 km/h beschleunigen und haben eine aufgezeichnete Höchstgeschwindigkeit von 232 km/h (144 mph).
Der Preis des Ford Focus RS liegt bei etwa 12.000 Dollar, sehr erschwingliche Kosten für einen Hochleistungs-RS (Rally Sport) mit Vorderradantrieb und 5-Gang-Schaltgetriebe. Weitere interessante technische Spezifikationen umfassen Brembo-belüftete Scheibenbremsen vorne und hinten, Michelin Pilot Super Sport 225/40 R18-Reifen, servogestützte Zahnstangenlenkung, Pseudo-McPherson-Aufhängung und Sparco-Sitze vorne.
