This video captures a record-breaking lap from September 27, 2014, at Gotland Ring. The Porsche 944 Turbo GTR, in its 2014 specification, achieved a new track record of 1:26.400 on semi-slicks, a record that remains unbroken to this day. This footage was recorded before the vehicle's transformation into the 968 GT1.

During the lap, the front support rods for the splitter unfortunately broke, causing the splitter to flap and clear debris from the track.
