2018: Introduction of the 718 Cayman GTS with a 2.5-liter turbocharged flat-four engine producing 365 horsepower. Standard features include the Sport Chrono Package, PASM with a 10mm lower ride height, a mechanical limited-slip differential with torque vectoring, and GTS-specific styling elements like blacked-out trim and Alcantara interior accents.
2019: Minor updates included new optional features such as Apple CarPlay compatibility and additional paint and interior color options. No changes to engine or performance specifications.
2020: Final production year for the 718 Cayman GTS 2.5, with the model carried over unchanged as Porsche transitioned to the naturally aspirated 4.0-liter flat-six engine in the 718 Cayman GTS 4.0 for 2021.
