2017: The Camaro ZL1 debuted with a supercharged 6.2L LT4 V8 producing 650 hp and 650 lb-ft of torque. It featured performance-oriented upgrades like Magnetic Ride Control, an electronic limited-slip differential, Recaro seats, and both 6-speed manual and 10-speed automatic transmission options. 2018: Chevrolet introduced the ZL1 1LE package for even more track-focused performance. The 1LE variant came with Multimatic DSSV dampers, a fixed rear wing, front canards, lightweight wheels with Goodyear Eagle F1 Supercar 3R tires, and a suspension setup tuned specifically for handling, making it the most extreme version of the ZL1.
2019: The ZL1 received updated styling on the front fascia across the Camaro lineup, along with minor interior upgrades. The ZL1 1LE became available with the 10-speed automatic transmission, enhancing accessibility for those who wanted automatic convenience on the track-focused model.
2020: Chevrolet improved the infotainment system with a new software update, expanding connectivity options and refining the user experience. No major changes were made to the powertrain or performance features.
