La Chevrolet Camaro6 SS, introdotta nel 2016 come parte della sesta generazione della Camaro, è una muscle car ad alte prestazioni che unisce uno stile aggressivo a una potenza impressionante e a tecnologie avanzate. Spinta da un motore V8 LT1 da 6,2 litri, eroga 455 cavalli e 455 lb-ft di coppia, abbinata a un cambio manuale a 6 marce con sistema di rev-matching o, in alternativa, a un cambio automatico opzionale a 8 marce (poi 10 marce).
La Camaro6 SS si basa su una piattaforma leggera derivata dal telaio Alpha, che migliora agilità e tenuta di strada rispetto al modello precedente. Tra le migliorie prestazionali figurano freni Brembo, sospensioni tarate per la performance e il sistema opzionale Magnetic Ride Control per un’ammortizzazione precisa. L’auto raggiunge uno 0-60 mph in circa 4 secondi con il cambio automatico.
All’interno, la Camaro6 SS offre un abitacolo orientato al guidatore con tecnologie moderne, tra cui un quadro strumenti digitale configurabile, un touchscreen da 8 pollici con il sistema Infotainment di Chevrolet e un display head-up disponibile.
