On September 25, 2020, during a VCMC/CACC Time Attack session at Mission Raceway Park, this 2012 BMW 3-Series E9x achieved a new personal best lap time of 1:23.88. The car was running on rain tires on a drying-but-still-wet track, demonstrating impressive control and speed in challenging conditions. This particular lap was approximately 4 seconds faster than the nearest competitor, with the driver noting that there was still plenty of time left to gain.
