(actual race starts at minut 5)

After years of testing, technical problems, and trying to understand the Esprit, it finally all came together. Made a great start, drove in 2 laps from P13 to P7..first real race lap I drove immediately 1,57min, the round after that also (new PR with the Esprit for me). It felt so good! Started the hunt for P6.. And then the wheel broke off at 180km/hr, ended up crashing into the tires with 100km/hr sideways. Guess it was my luck that it were tires, and the car's from polyester, enabling it to absorb the impact.

Felt very sad for the damage on my beautiful Lotus Esprit. But ok. I got out fine, so...guess I should be happy.
