2-2-24. Back at Laguna Seca hoping to beat the time I set in my GT4 just two months prior. Unfortunately, luck was not on my side as it was wet & wild for the first half of the day and even though it dried out nicely after lunch there were still some wet spots in the braking zone before T2, and T3 remained soaked. Considering the conditions, I am more than pleased with my 1:35.67 which I was spurred into by following Will from WRTeknica in a customer’s GT3 that he was shaking down. I’m confident that I could easily shave a few seconds at a completely dry track. Just have to come back and try again with better weather. Huge shout-out to SoCal Driver’s Club for putting on a killer event despite the adverse weather conditions.
