Polecat Training Center
Polecat Training Center is a comprehensive driver training facility located at 1054 Polecat Hollow Road in Fayetteville, Tennessee, in south-central Tennessee near Lynchburg. The facility occupies a 420-acre private motorsports paradise and serves as a complex driver training center for adult and continuing education in automotive driver training, including off-road, unimproved roads, road racing, automotive manufacturers, and Law Enforcement/Military applications.
The circuit measures 2.1 to 2.2 miles in length with significant elevation changes of up to 120 feet. The facility offers two main configurations: the Pro Course with 14 turns and the School Course with 19 turns (named PTC Club and PTC Pro). Each of the 19 corners is purpose-designed to teach specific driving skills. The track is characterized as a tight, technical circuit with lots of elevation changes, off-camber sections, g-outs, and both uphill and downhill sections. The tight and twisty nature makes it ideal for momentum-based vehicles rather than high-horsepower cars. The Polecat Training Center is designed primarily for driver training and serves as an important facility for developing advanced driving skills in a controlled environment with challenging and varied corner types.
