This is my first timed session from the December 21, 2019 Driveway Austin Time Attack. www.drivewayaustin.com. The format is you against the clock in three separate session, three laps each. This is the first time running this car at this track.
The sun is finally starting to come out and the temperature is in the 50's. Track is mostly dried out at this point. I was somewhat easy on the first lap costing me time, but warming up the tires. The next two laps were within .03 of each other and pulled 1.29G in the turns. I would say that is fairly consistent.
I was happy with this first set of timed laps on the R88R's. The tires are really sticking and car is handling great. Only draw back is the driver, but I pick up the pace in the next group of laps.
Car is a 2019 Corvette Grand Sport A8.
