While coaching the driver of a 320 WHP Automatic Turbo 86, I was asked to set a bench mark lap by the owner as he wanted to see how fast the car could go.
Never having driven a GT86 before I was pushing it hard as I would only be able to get 1 lap in before the rain would come and the lap was not really that smooth, with several minor errors, but when I crossed the finish line of Lap 1, I had unknowingly at the time set a new all time GT86 lap record for the track with a 2.11.76
The car had 320 WHP and 260 ft/lb of torque.
The car was on a set of Yokohama AD09 tires
