Back at the track after a long winter. Over the off season I added a Sparco Sprint Bucket Seat, 330mm steering wheel from GuardianDesigns, 5xRacing shift knob, took care of some maintenance (timing belt, water pump, thermostat, valve cover gasket, etc), and scored a used set of 15x8 Advanti Storm S1 with Falken RT660s. I also updated my alignment (since my Bauer extended lower ball joints already started failing after 1 year) after getting SuperMiata extended lower ball joints installed and added more front camber.

It was my first time running on the Alien Layout at GBM and my first session ended after 4 laps when my serpentine belt came loose and lost power steering. I sat out two sessions, came back for two more and set a best lap of 1:16.69 for the day. I went for a fourth session and the belt came loose again and that ended my day. Besides that, I definitely need to adjust my front ride height again because my front lip is scraping on the track in certain turns/bumps.

Overall, happy to be back on track to try the Alien Layout. Even happier I got to spend the day with the boys and our cars.
