Join me onboard the Hyper Racer X1 (www.HyperRacer.com / www.HyperRacer.co.uk) for the first lap of the Monoposto Tiedeman Trophy race back in 2024.
we were running a narrow rear wing to meet blue book regulations so was more of a glorified test session as we got to know the circuit and also learn the car with the new wing.
It provided useful feedback to the team at Hyper Racer who have since further developed the wing to meet UK requirements. They have improved the design to get it performing the same lap times as the original wing whilst adding more stability.
This was day 1 of the wing development and looking forward to getting out again with the new, developed unit.
