Notes
The Ford Mustang V6 S197 is a fifth-generation Mustang, produced from 2007 to 2013 in the Ford Motors Company Flat Rock assembly plant, Michigan. This two-door American pony car is the product of a joint design by Hau Thai-Tang and Sid Ramnarace. The Mustang V6 S197 uses a 4.0 L Cologne SOCH V6 engine with an output power of 210 HP (15 kW) at 5300 RPM and a torque of 240 lb-ft (325Nm) at 3500 RPM. This engine operates with a five-speed transmission TREMEC T-5 to take the car from 0-60 MPH in 6.9 seconds. The V6 S197 achieves a top speed of 139 MPH (224 Km/h) without a speed governor. The price of this Mustang version is around $8,000 on today's market.
The Ford Mustang V6 S197 incorporates McPherson strut front suspension and a three-link system on the rear. It features a Panhard Rod that controls the movements of the axle, offering a reduction of cost and weight over the traditional independent rear suspension. This car runs with Pirelli P-Zero Nero 215/65 R16 tires on all 4-wheels, with a vented discs brake system. It weighs around 3450 Lb, way lighter than its predecessors, and much more efficient from a fuel consumption standpoint (5.3 gal/100km). In general, Mustang enthusiasts and muscle car fans consider this car an excellent daily driver that's fun to drive on the racetrack.
