2020: The 330i carried over largely unchanged from the 2019 model but added a few optional features. BMW introduced Android Auto compatibility, addressing a key request from Android users. Advanced driver-assistance features such as lane-keeping assist and adaptive cruise control became more widely available as options, enhancing safety technology for this model year.

2021: In 2021, BMW expanded standard equipment across the 3 Series lineup, including the 330i.
