Circuit Parcmotor Castellolí
Circuit Parcmotor Castellolí CW 4.1 km, 12 curvas, sentido horário. Volta mais rápida registrada: 1:43.430 (McLaren 750S 2024).
The Circuit Parcmotor Castellolí is part of a motorsports complex located in Castellolí, Spain, an hour away from downtown Barcelona. The 2.57-mile (4.13-km) trajectory goes through the hillside of Monserrat Mountain. The steep slope offers remarkable elevation changes along the road. Apart from the road course, the complex includes a karting track, a separate raceway for driver education, a motocross track, an indoor trial area, and an enduro circuit. The Mediterranean climate of Catalunya is perfect for outdoor activities year-round, and the track surface tends to remain dry most of the time.
The main aim of the Circuit Parcmotor Castellolí is racer development, and its second goal is to serve as a training/testing ground, product presentation site, publicity photo shoots, etc. The circuit starts/ends in its northernmost straight, with the mountain top to the left side of the road. It goes downhill through turns one and two, passing below the bridge at 160 km/h (100 mph). The first heavy braking sector comes at the 60-degree corner four, and the longest straight comes after five, extending until reaching corner six. The trajectory continues downhill through seven, eight, nine, and ten, going steeper and steeper as drivers advance. The road starts going uphill only after sweeper eleven, for a full lap of the circuit at an average time of 2:01.3.
