MotorPark România Notas

MotorPark România is the first permanent professional racing circuit in Romania, located in Adâncata. The facility opened at the end of 2014 and was completed in 2015, covering approximately 56 hectares of mostly flat land with an average level difference of 2 meters. The circuit features a modular design divided into three segments that can be combined in various ways: Segment 1 (North-West) at 1,800 meters, Segment 2 (Central) at 1,600 meters, and Segment 3 (South-East) at 900 meters, which opened in 2015. These segments can create different track configurations, with the longest measuring 4,129 kilometers (2.566 miles).

The track is 11 meters wide for 3,170 meters of its length and 8.5 meters wide for the 110-meter connection segment. It features a 960-meter straight line that is 14 to 16 meters wide, where speeds up to 300 km/h can be reached. The circuit is classified as a medium-speed race track with 14 curves and can be run in either direction, though clockwise is most common. The motorsport center provides 12 boxes/garages (10m x 5m each), administrative areas, VIP and public terraces, and a 10,000-square-meter paddock. MotorPark România has become an important motorsport venue in Eastern Europe since its completion.

CW Notas

The clockwise configuration at MotorPark Romania represents the most common direction for Romania's modular facility located in Adancata, delivering up to 4.129 kilometers (2.566 miles) through three distinct ring sections that can be combined in various configurations. Running clockwise from the 950-meter straight line, the circuit's 11-16 meter variable width provides multiple racing lines through sections designated as Ring 1 (North-West, 1,800 meters), Ring 2 (Central, 1,600 meters), and Ring 3 (South-East, 900 meters). The clockwise flow has established itself as the preferred direction for timing attacks and competitive events, though the facility's bidirectional capability allows counterclockwise operation when event organizers seek different line approaches or simultaneous multi-group track utilization.

Operating clockwise at MotorPark Romania showcases the circuit's deliberate design for flexibility, with the modular ring system allowing configurations ranging from the 900-meter Ring 3 standalone layout to the full 4.129-kilometer Ring 1+2+3 combination. The clockwise direction emphasizes specific corner entry speeds and apex sighting references that become familiar to regular users, creating home-track advantages for Romanian club racers and track day participants who've mastered the preferred direction. Eastern European continental climate creates dramatic seasonal extremes-summer track temperatures can exceed 55°C while the racing season typically runs April through October to avoid harsh winter conditions. The facility's location in rural Romania positions it as the country's premier circuit training destination, serving domestic motorsport enthusiasts with club racing, manufacturer testing, and driving school programs. The clockwise configuration's 950-meter straight provides the facility's maximum speed section, where the circuit width expansion to 16 meters allows multiple racing lines and overtaking opportunities before heavy braking into the technical ring sections that define MotorPark Romania's character.
