Subaru BRZ Mk2 — это модель второго поколения популярного заднеприводного спортивного купе Subaru, представленная в 2022 году. Разработанный в сотрудничестве с Toyota, Mk2 BRZ использует платформу Toyota GR86, но сохраняет уникальные инженерные решения Subaru. Новый BRZ оснащён 2,4-литровым атмосферным оппозитным четырёхцилиндровым двигателем мощностью 228 л.с. и крутящим моментом 184 lb-ft — значительное улучшение по сравнению с 2,0-литровым мотором предыдущего поколения, что решило прежние претензии к недостатку тяги на низких оборотах.
BRZ Mk2 получил лёгкое и жёсткое шасси с низким центром тяжести благодаря оппозитному двигателю и стратегическому использованию высокопрочной стали. Автомобиль доступен с 6-ступенчатой механической или 6-ступенчатой автоматической коробкой передач. Подвеска настроена на баланс и отзывчивость, что делает машину особенно приятной на извилистых дорогах и треке. Новая платформа также улучшила динамику управления и устойчивость, развивая репутацию первого поколения за чёткое и предсказуемое поведение на дороге.
Внешний вид BRZ Mk2 переработан: более обтекаемый и аэродинамичный профиль, включая светодиодные фары, расширенную решётку радиатора и агрессивные линии кузова. В салоне применены улучшенные материалы, цифровая приборная панель, 8-дюймовый сенсорный экран мультимедийной системы с поддержкой Apple CarPlay и Android Auto, а также удобные спортивные сиденья. Subaru сохранила минималистичный, ориентированный на водителя дизайн, повысив комфорт и сведя отвлекающие факторы к минимуму.
