The Renault Megane IV RS Trophy 300, the fourth generation of Megane, is a five-door/front-engine/front-wheel drive hatchback designed by Nico Hulkenberg and assembled in Palencia, France from 2017 onwards. This improved version runs with a 1.8L TCe M5P turbocharger engine, which produces a maximum output power of 300 Ps and 420Nm of torque. A 6-speed manual transmission takes the car from 0-62 Mph in 5.7 seconds, reaching a 162 Mph top speed. It has a combined fuel consumption of 8.1L/100 Km and a curb weight of 3128 Lb, with a 4.7Kg/HP weight to power ratio.
The Renault Megane IV RS Trophy 300 represents one of the most responsive hatchbacks any enthusiast would like to own for a reasonable cost. It includes 19-inch alloy wheels wearing Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 245/35/R19 stock tires on both axles and a ventilated discs brake system with ABS. An independent McPherson suspension with coil springs and an anti-roll bar supports the chassis. The interior side of the car has taken a step forward with new features such as a 9.3-inch touchscreen and BOSE audio system for a better driving experience. Its current market value sits around 26,799 €.
