Anmerkungen

The Nissan 240SX S14, produced from 1994 to 1998, is the second generation of the 240SX, a rear-wheel-drive sports coupe known for its balanced performance and sleek styling. It features a 2.4-liter inline-four KA24DE engine producing 155 hp and 160 lb-ft of torque, paired with a 5-speed manual or 4-speed automatic transmission. While not turbocharged like its Japanese-market counterpart, the Silvia, the S14 gained popularity for its tunability and drift-friendly chassis.

The S14 introduced a wider and lower body compared to its predecessor, with a more refined suspension setup for improved handling. Inside, it offered a driver-focused cabin with modern features for the era. Today, the 240SX S14 is a favorite among car enthusiasts and tuners, prized for its versatility and potential for modification.

ANMERKUNGEN ZUM JAHR

1995: The 240SX transitioned to the S14 generation, featuring a more refined, rounded design with a wider and longer body. The KA24DE engine remained, producing 155 hp, but Nissan made updates to the suspension and chassis for improved handling and comfort. Two trims were available: the base and SE. This generation introduced a driver’s airbag and optional ABS.
1997: The S14 received a facelift with a more aggressive front-end design, known as the Kouki model. It featured new projector headlights, a revised front bumper, and updated taillights. Performance remained the same, but the car gained a sportier appearance, especially in the SE trim with an optional limited-slip differential.
1998: The final year for the Nissan 240SX in the U.S. market saw no significant changes as Nissan prepared to discontinue the model. Production ended in 1998, with the S14 240SX going on to become a popular choice among tuners and drift enthusiasts due to its rear-wheel-drive layout and modifiability.
