The 2023 Honda Civic Type R ($50,050 in Canada, $42,894 in the US) has a lot to prove. Not only does it have to succeed its highly-regarded previous generation, but it needs to go toe to toe with some serious hatchback heavyweights. Such as the Volkswagen Golf R ($47,495 CAD, $44,740) and the Ford Focus RS ($48,964 CAD, $36,775 USD) among others. Thomas and James are eager to see how this new FL5 generation of Civic Type R has been improved and how it compares to its competitors on the track and drag strip.
