Finally made it out to Buttonwillow with the Mustang. Had a fantastic first two sessions on Sunday morning and unfortunately at the beginning of the third the positive battery cable shorted to the firewall and started a fire. Luckily I was able to stop quickly and the safety crews got it extinguished before the damage got too bad. I’ll have to continue my sub 2 minute hunt later this year after some repairs.
