The Lotus Exige S240 is a high-performance, track-focused sports car introduced in 2008 as an upgraded variant of the Exige lineup. Powered by a 1.8L supercharged inline-four engine sourced from Toyota, the S240 produces 240 hp and 170 lb-ft of torque, providing rapid acceleration in a lightweight chassis. The combination of the supercharged engine and low curb weight—around 2,000 pounds—allowed the Exige S240 to achieve a 0-60 mph time of just 4 seconds.
The Exige S240’s design emphasizes aerodynamics and downforce, featuring a large rear wing, front splitter, and side intakes, all of which contribute to increased stability and grip at high speeds.
