The Ferrari 488 Challenge is a race car specifically designed for Ferrari's one-make racing series, the Ferrari Challenge. It is based on the 488 GTB but extensively modified for track use. Powered by a 3.9-liter twin-turbo V8 engine, it delivers 670 horsepower, identical to the road car but with enhanced performance due to weight reduction and improved aerodynamics. Features include a race-spec transmission, adjustable suspension, large carbon-ceramic brakes, and a stripped interior with a roll cage and racing seat. The car is equipped with advanced electronics, including traction control and ABS tuned for track conditions, and a racing-specific aerodynamic package for increased downforce.
