GT-R NISMO

Notes

The Nissan GT-R NISMO is a two-door four-seater track-focused coupe introduced at the Tokyo Motor Show in 2013 and produced in Yokohama, Japan. This all-wheel-drive vehicle features a 3.8L V6 twin-turbo DOHC 24-valve engine that produces a maximum power of 545HP at 6400RPM, accompanied by a 6-speed automated sequential transmission with manual mode. The Nissan GT-R NISMO was the World's fastest production vehicle at its release, going from 0-60 MPH in just 2.5 seconds flat with a maximum speed of 198 MPH. These spectacular and impressive numbers are music for the ears of speed lovers.

The price of this Nissan GT-R NISMO is around $134,000 on the market these days. It includes a full Nismo-tuned suspension, brakes, and a hollow rear stabilizer bar taken from the performance division. It comes with 20-in alloy wheels out of the factory, with Dunlop SP Sport Maxx GT 600 255/40 R20 tires on the front and 285/35 R20 rear tires. A large racing-style carbon-fiber wing is located in the rear, while a splitter with carbon fiber air ducts in the front provides a fully aerodynamic body to this car. It is a fantastic sports car to drive, packed with great speed and maneuverability, and a unique experience for any performance addict.

NOTES DE L'ANNéE

2014: The GT-R NISMO was introduced as the most track-focused GT-R, with a 3.8L twin-turbo V6 engine producing 600 hp and 481 lb-ft of torque, thanks to larger turbochargers from the GT3 race car. It included upgraded suspension, lightweight 20-inch RAYS forged wheels, a titanium exhaust system, and extensive use of carbon fiber in components like the front bumper, rear wing, and trunk lid. The aerodynamics were optimized to increase downforce, and the NISMO set a Nürburgring lap time of 7:08.679.
2015: Minor updates included adjustments to improve ride comfort and reduce cabin noise, addressing feedback from drivers who desired more refinement for street driving. The powertrain and performance specs remained the same, keeping the focus on the NISMO’s track-oriented setup.
2017: The GT-R NISMO received a major facelift along with the standard GT-R models. Exterior updates included a redesigned front fascia with a new V-Motion grille, larger intakes, and reinforced hood for better aerodynamics and cooling. The interior was upgraded with improved materials, a larger 8-inch touchscreen, and fewer physical buttons for a cleaner layout. Suspension tuning was revised for improved cornering stability, and Nissan made enhancements to improve high-speed handling and road comfort without sacrificing track performance.
2018: Minor updates focused on further refining the electronics, such as updated software for the AWD and stability control systems, enhancing the car’s responsiveness in high-speed and cornering situations. Performance and styling remained consistent with the 2017 model.
2020: The 2020 GT-R NISMO received more significant updates, with the introduction of GT3-inspired turbochargers that improved throttle response without changing the overall power output (600 hp). Lightweight carbon-ceramic brakes were introduced for the first time, providing better braking performance and reduced weight. Nissan added more carbon-fiber components, including the front fenders, roof, and rear diffuser, further reducing weight and enhancing handling. Suspension tuning was refined, and the steering system was re-calibrated for more precise feedback.
2022: The GT-R NISMO received minor updates, with special editions such as the NISMO Special Edition featuring an exclusive Stealth Gray paint, clear-coated carbon-fiber hood, and unique red accents. Nissan made minor tweaks to ensure performance consistency, with no major mechanical changes.
