991.2 Targa GTS

Notes

The Porsche 911 Targa 4 GTS (991.2), produced from 2017-2019, combines the distinctive Targa roof design with enhanced GTS performance specifications and standard all-wheel drive. Powered by a 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged flat-six engine with larger turbochargers producing 450 hp and 405 lb-ft of torque (30 hp more than the Targa 4S), the vehicle achieves 0-60 mph in 3.5 seconds with either the standard 7-speed manual or optional PDK dual-clutch transmission, reaching a top speed of over 190 mph. The GTS produces 20 hp more than the previous naturally-aspirated GTS generation while delivering superior torque characteristics.

The Targa 4 GTS features the distinctive Targa bar in black satin finish (a first for the model), creating a unique visual signature combined with the removable roof panel. Standard equipment includes 20-inch center-lock wheels from the 911 Turbo S in satin black, SportDesign front fascia, Sport Chrono package with Sport Response button providing maximum acceleration in 20-second intervals, sport exhaust system, Sport Design exterior mirrors, and black GTS door logos. Weighing 3,660 pounds, the Targa 4 GTS delivers near-Turbo performance with the practicality of all-wheel drive and the open-air experience of the Targa configuration, representing a compelling package for enthusiasts seeking distinctive styling, versatile capability, and genuine performance credentials in the 911 lineup.
