2020: The 992.1 Turbo S debuted with a new 3.8-liter twin-turbocharged flat-six engine, producing 640 horsepower and 590 lb-ft of torque. It featured an 8-speed PDK transmission, all-wheel drive, and advanced aerodynamics, including adaptive cooling air flaps and a larger rear wing. The interior was upgraded with a 10.9-inch touchscreen display and premium materials.
2021: This model year retained the core performance features but introduced updates to Porsche’s infotainment system, including improved connectivity and navigation. New color options and interior customization features were also offered.
2022: Porsche made refinements to suspension tuning and driving dynamics, enhancing the car's handling. Some markets saw enhancements to driver assistance systems. Optional lightweight packages were introduced, allowing owners to reduce the car's weight for a more track-oriented experience.
2023: This year brought slight styling updates, mainly to the lighting and front grille, as well as enhanced digital features in the cabin. The model retained its powerful engine and core specifications, but optional trim packages allowed more customization in interior materials and colors.
2024: The latest version introduced advanced safety features and software updates for better on-road adaptability. Refinements in adaptive suspension and subtle tweaks to aerodynamics improved high-speed stability.
