The Radical SR10 is a high-performance, track-focused sports car designed for advanced driving enthusiasts and competitive racing. Built by Radical Sportscars, the SR10 is powered by a 2.3L turbocharged inline-four engine, producing around 425 hp and 380 lb-ft of torque. This engine, sourced from Ford and enhanced by Radical, offers impressive acceleration and responsiveness, especially given the SR10's lightweight chassis.

The SR10 features a six-speed sequential gearbox with paddle shifters, allowing for quick gear changes suited to high-speed track driving. Its aerodynamic body is designed for optimal downforce and stability, with large rear wings, splitters, and advanced airflow management. The car’s suspension setup is fully adjustable, allowing drivers to fine-tune the handling for different track conditions.

Inside, the SR10 offers a stripped-down, race-ready interior with a digital dash, racing seat, and a roll cage for safety. Known for its power-to-weight ratio, precise handling, and high cornering capability, the Radical SR10 provides an experience close to open-wheel racing in a closed-cockpit car, making it a popular choice in amateur and professional racing leagues worldwide.

NOTES DE L'ANNéE

2020: The Radical SR10 was introduced with a 2.3L turbocharged inline-four engine, producing 425 hp and 380 lb-ft of torque. This engine was paired with a six-speed sequential transmission with paddle shifters. The SR10 featured a lightweight tubular steel chassis, advanced aerodynamics with large wings and splitters, and fully adjustable suspension. The car was designed to provide high levels of downforce and stability, especially for track use. Inside, it had a minimalist, race-ready cockpit with a digital dash, racing seats, and safety equipment like a roll cage.
2021: Radical made minor adjustments to enhance cooling and improve durability for extended track use. Software updates were applied to the traction control and engine management systems, optimizing power delivery and stability under high-stress conditions. The SR10 continued with the same engine and core specifications, but these refinements made it more reliable for endurance racing.
2022: The SR10 received updated brakes with larger discs and improved calipers to handle the car's power and speed more effectively. Radical introduced new options for custom suspension tuning, allowing for even greater flexibility in setup based on specific track needs. The interior was slightly revised to improve ergonomics and driver comfort during long sessions on the track.
2023: Radical focused on refining the aerodynamics of the SR10, with subtle adjustments to the front splitter and rear wing to improve airflow and downforce. Minor adjustments were also made to the transmission software for quicker, smoother shifts. New data-logging and telemetry options were introduced, providing teams with enhanced feedback and real-time performance monitoring.
