La Toyota GR Corolla è una hot hatch ad alte prestazioni, ispirata al rally, introdotta nel 2023 come parte della gamma Gazoo Racing (GR) di Toyota. Basata sulla piattaforma Corolla, la GR Corolla monta un motore turbo 3 cilindri da 1,6L (G16E-GTS), capace di erogare 300 hp e 273 lb-ft di coppia. Questo motore compatto e potente è abbinato esclusivamente a un cambio manuale a 6 marce e a un avanzato sistema di trazione integrale GR-Four, che consente al guidatore di regolare la distribuzione della coppia tra gli assi anteriore e posteriore (60:40, 50:50 o 30:70) per adattarsi a diverse condizioni di guida.
Il design della GR Corolla presenta passaruota più ampi, paraurti anteriori e posteriori aggressivi, prese d’aria funzionali sul cofano e un grande spoiler posteriore, conferendole un profilo muscoloso e aerodinamico. È equipaggiata con sospensioni tarate per la performance, che garantiscono un handling e una stabilità eccezionali. Per migliorare la capacità di frenata, l’auto monta freni ventilati con pinze a quattro pistoncini sull’asse anteriore.
All’interno, la GR Corolla offre un abitacolo orientato al guidatore con sedili sportivi di supporto, un quadro strumenti digitale e dettagli stilistici specifici GR. Il sistema di infotainment include Apple CarPlay e Android Auto, mantenendo l’auto moderna e connessa. Grazie al motore ad alta potenza, al sistema AWD avanzato e all’eredità rallystica, la GR Corolla ha rapidamente attirato l’attenzione degli appassionati, offrendo un mix unico di potenza, controllo e versatilità quotidiana in una compatta hatchback.
