April 23, 2022: Back behind the wheel for another 2 day HPDE weekend event, this time with Motorsport 4The Masses. My best lap in the 1st session of the day came within a tenth of my previous PB so on the next session, I pushed hard to nail a good line and aim for a new personal best. I decided taking one sighting lap at speed then a cool down lap to set myself up for 2 fast laps afterwards would be a decent strategy. This was the second of those two laps where, except for two points in the lap, I was pushing for the best time possible. The Civic felt good and fast on this lap once I had cooled the brakes and tires down. I was so surprised at the pace we had that I couldn't help but get excited coming to start/finish. Overall, I'm really happy with how capable and balanced the car feels. Especially as we're on 500tw all season tires that I was trying to nurse and look after.
