SCCA Ohio Valley Region hosted a Time Trials event today. Each group had 5 timed sessions to set their best lap time of the day. There were 6 other drivers in Tuner 4 which made for a fun and competitive day. The top 3 were all within a tenth all day and I was sitting in 2nd before heading out for the last session. I pulled out a hero lap in the last lap and finished with a new personal best of 1:39.997, winning the class and possibly setting a new T4 record for Mid-Ohio (still trying to confirm). Apologies for the spicy word at the end of the session, I went in the carousel too hot and screwed up my exit and resulting in plowing through the final corner and thought I had missed my chance. It took me a moment to realize I had actually gotten the time I needed.
Thanks to the OVR club, Adam DeLong and all the volunteers that put this event together. This is my 3rd time attending, and it is always well run and a blast to compete.
