Este elegante roadster alemão é um design de Ferdinand Butzi, montado em Stuttgart, Alemanha, entre 2016 e 2019. Esta versão reestilizada do Carrera conta com um motor boxer de seis cilindros biturbo de 3.0L com intercooler, entregando 420HP de potência máxima e 500Nm de torque. O Carrera S vem equipado com uma transmissão manual de 7 marchas, capaz de levar o carro de 0 a 62 mph em 4,3 segundos, atingindo uma velocidade máxima de 192,38 mph. Um novo estilo com para-choques, faróis e lanternas atualizados renovou o modelo básico do 911. Esta versão também é a primeira a incluir um motor turbo.
O Porsche 991.2 Carrera S é uma versão mais potente, projetada para satisfazer as necessidades de qualquer amante de velocidade, com um visual clássico e desempenho de alto nível. Vem equipado com rodas de 20 polegadas calçadas com pneus Pirelli P-Zero 245/35/ZR20 na dianteira e 305/30/ZR20 na traseira. A suspensão independente McPherson com multi-link e o sistema de freios a disco ventilados com ABS também são itens de série neste modelo.
