The Renault Megane 3 RS 265 is a high-performance limited edition version of the Megane Series that comes in a 3-door, rear-mid-engine, rear-wheel-drive layout, assembled in Palencia, Spain, from 2012 to 2016. This sober-looking hatchback runs with a modified turbocharged DOHC 2.0L four-cylinder (195kW 265PS) engine, paired with a 6-speed manual transmission. The unique metallic-yellow paint job is a trademark of this particular version of Renault, alongside specific decorations such as the Trophy stickers on the doors and the 19-inch wheels with R.S center caps. The Renault Megane 3 RS 265 production was limited to only 500 units, making it a valuable, collectible model for loyal enthusiasts of the best-selling French brand.
The Renault Megane 3 RS 265 ensures a fun, thrilling driving experience for speed lovers and the public in general. It reaches a top speed of 157 Mph, going from 0-62 Mph in six seconds. It includes a 235/35R19 Pilot Sport Cup 2 tire setup, supported by a revised McPherson-torsion suspension system. A ventilated disc with an ABS brake system is in charge of the stopping power, while an electric rack and pinion steering type provide smooth driving and handling.
