Circuito dos Cristais, located near Curvelo in the state of Minas Gerais, Brazil, is a relatively new racing circuit with a growing reputation. Inaugurated in 2016, it was designed by renowned architect Hermann Tilke, known for his work on numerous Formula 1 tracks. The circuit's name, "Circuit of Crystals," is derived from the region's rich mineral deposits.

The track boasts a challenging 4.42-kilometer (2.75-mile) layout featuring 18 turns, combining high-speed straights with technical corners. The design incorporates significant elevation changes, adding to the complexity and excitement for drivers. The circuit runs in a counter-clockwise direction.
