The KTM X-BOW RR is an ultra-lightweight monocoque, rear-wheel-drive sports car designed by KISKA and assembled at the KMT Sports Car GMBH in Graz, Austria, from 2011. This racetrack-oriented, non-street-legal machine features a lean composite carbon fiber composite weighing no more than 1740 Lbs. The Crossbow runs with a 2.0L Audi TFSI I5 turbocharged engine that produces a maximum power of 300 HP and 400 Nm of torque at 3300Rpm. It comes with a standard 6-speed manual Audi transmission capable of going from 0 to 62 MPH in just 3.9 seconds with a maximum registered speed of 144 MPH.
The KTM X-BOW RR is a strong competitor on the tracks, laser-focused on creating the best possible performance for racers with extravagant taste. It comes with competition Toyo R888 215/45/ZR17 tires on the front and 255/35/ZR18 on the rear, all supported by a Brembo brake system that employs a four-piston, fixed caliper on the front and a two-piston on the back, requiring only 32.9 meters to brake from 62-0 Mph. It has a detachable multi-function steering wheel (infrared controlled) with adjustable height and depth. This exotic and futuristic Austrian racer is currently valued at around $93000.

2012: Minor updates focused on improving engine durability and reliability, especially under extreme track conditions. KTM also introduced additional customization options for suspension and braking components, catering to teams looking for tailored performance on different tracks.
2013: KTM refined the X-BOW RR’s aerodynamics, optimizing downforce and stability at high speeds. The interior saw slight modifications, including a more ergonomic race seat and updated steering controls to improve driver comfort during long track sessions.
2014: This year brought further engine management updates, allowing for more precise power delivery and improved throttle response. KTM introduced new brake components for greater endurance and heat dissipation, enhancing the car’s braking performance in endurance racing scenarios.
2015: KTM introduced an optional data-logging system, enabling teams and drivers to monitor and analyze vehicle performance in real time. The suspension setup was also slightly revised, providing more adjustability and tunability for specific track conditions.
2016: The X-BOW RR received slight interior updates with additional safety features, including improved harness systems and a redesigned roll-over protection structure to meet updated racing regulations.
2019: KTM continued producing the X-BOW RR, with minor yearly updates focusing on durability and customization options. The introduction of advanced data logging and telemetry systems provided more in-depth vehicle performance analytics, solidifying the X-BOW RR as a highly competitive track car.
