The Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X GSR belongs to the tenth and final generation of the popular Lancer Evolution Series. It came in a four-door/front-engine/all-wheel-drive LSD Sports Sedan layout designed by Omer Halilhodzic and assembled at Mizushima Plant in Japan from 2007 to 2016. This Japanese all-arounder comes out of the factory with either a 5-speed manual transmission or an optional 6-speed twin-clutch SST. Under its hood, a 2.0L turbocharged inline-4 engine produces a maximum output power of 299 PS at 6500 RPM and 366 Nm of torque. Mitsubishis are known to be fast, and this GSR is not the exception, running from 0-60 MPH in just 4.5 seconds at a 157Mph top speed.
The Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X GSR is all about performance. It comes with a stylish rear spoiler and BBS lightweight cast alloy wheels from stock, and a standard engine immobilizer with a security alarm as an additional option. The 245/40/R18 Yokohama ADVAN A13C tires come on all 4-wheels, supported by Bilstein shock absorbers, Eibach coil springs suspension, and Brembo ventilated discs brake system. A luxurious leather combination in the interior that matches the exterior color is available for the GSR model. In general, the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X GSR mixes the rawness and authenticity of its performance with a revamped, modern style that motorsport enthusiasts love. With a price tag of around 15,000 dollars, this is the perfect choice for anyone wanting to have a superior daily driver that brings lots of excitement to the racetracks from time to time.
