Der Porsche 991.2 GT3 RS ist eine Hochleistungs-, streckenfokussierte Version des 911, eingeführt 2018. Er verfügt über einen saugbetriebenen 4,0-Liter-Sechszylinder-Boxermotor, der 520 PS und 469 Nm (346 lb-ft) Drehmoment erzeugt, ausschließlich gekoppelt mit einem 7-Gang-PDK-Doppelkupplungsgetriebe. Dieser Antriebsstrang ermöglicht eine 0-100-km/h-Zeit von etwa 3 Sekunden und eine Höchstgeschwindigkeit von 311 km/h (193 mph). Der GT3 RS ist mit fortschrittlicher Aerodynamik ausgestattet, einschließlich eines großen festen Heckflügels, Kotflügelöffnungen vorne und einem neu gestalteten Frontsplitter, um Abtrieb und Stabilität bei hohen Geschwindigkeiten zu maximieren. Die leichte Karosserie beinhaltet umfangreiche Verwendung von Kohlefaser, Magnesium und anderen Leichtbaumaterialien, was zu einem Leergewicht von etwa 1.430 kg (3.153 Pfund) führt. Das Aufhängungssystem verfügt über einstellbare Komponenten mit Porsches Active Suspension Management für präzises Handling auf der Rennstrecke. Innen hat der GT3 RS eine abgespeckte, renninspi rierte Kabine mit Alcantara- und Kohlefaser-Verkleidung, unterstützenden Sportsitzen und einem optionalen Clubsport-Paket, das einen Überrollkäfig und einen 6-Punkt-Gurt umfasst. Der Porsche 991.2 GT3 RS wird für seinen hochdrehenden Motor, sein präzises Handling und sein streckenfokussiertes Design gefeiert und ist damit einer der fähigsten saugbetriebenen Sportwagen im Porsche-Lineup.
