Circuito Ascari Resort Anmerkungen

Circuito Ascari Resort, nestled in the Ronda mountains of southern Spain, is a unique and challenging private racing circuit. Founded by Dutch businessman Klaas Zwart and named after the legendary Italian racing driver Alberto Ascari, the track opened in 2003 and quickly established itself as a driver's paradise. Zwart's vision was to create a circuit that combined elements from the world's most famous corners, offering a diverse and demanding test of skill and machine.

The 5.425 km (3.371 mi) circuit boasts 26 corners, each meticulously designed to mimic iconic sections from tracks like Eau Rouge at Spa-Francorchamps, the Daytona banking, and the Karussell at the Nürburgring. This eclectic mix results in a highly technical layout that demands precision, adaptability, and a deep understanding of vehicle dynamics. The track features significant elevation changes, blind crests, and a variety of corner radii, presenting a constant challenge for drivers. The surface is known for its excellent grip and smooth tarmac, further enhancing the driving experience.

While primarily a private facility, Ascari hosts a variety of motorsport activities, including track days, manufacturer testing, and corporate events. The circuit is not typically used for major international racing series, but it is popular among enthusiasts and professional drivers seeking a unique and demanding test. The resort also offers high-end amenities, including a driving school, a museum showcasing Zwart's extensive collection of historic racing cars, and luxury accommodation, making it a complete destination for automotive enthusiasts. What truly sets Ascari apart is its commitment to providing a personalized and exclusive experience, allowing drivers to hone their skills on a world-class circuit in a stunning and private setting.
